In a significant stride towards promoting renewable energy, David Pieris Renewable Energy (Private) Limited (DPRE) has partnered with DFCC Bank through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic alliance aims to facilitate affordable and accessible financing solutions for customers seeking to invest in solar energy solutions offered by David Pieris Renewable Energy (Private) Limited.

The partnership introduces a joint Solar Loan Promotion, enabling customers to finance renewable power generation solutions sold by DPRE through customized loans provided by DFCC Bank. Under this collaboration, DPRE will offer special benefits for customers availing loans through DFCC, while the bank provides tailored financing options subject to their eligibility criteria.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Jayantha Ratnayake, Chairman, DPRE, Mr. Samantha Silva, Director, Mr. Geeth Samaranayake, Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Lahiru Vitharana, Deputy General Manager, representing DPRE. From the DFCC Bank, Mr. Shamindra Marcelline, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Aasiri Iddamalgoda, Senior Vice President (Retail Banking & SME), Mr. Asanka Patabadige, Assistant Vice President (Consumer Assets, Retail Banking) and Ms. Thusitha Subramaniam, Assistant Manager, Personal Loans participated in the event.
